PREFERENCE TO THE SPANIEL BREEDS. RETRIEVERS/OTHER BREEDS IF 25 ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED. IF AT THE TIME OF CLOSING, THE LIMIT HAS NOT BEEN REACHED, CSCOA WILL ACCEPT ENTRIES FROM OTHER ELIGIBLE BREEDS UP TO THE EVENT LIMIT, FROM A MAINTAINED WAITLIST, SUBJECT TO THE PREFERENCE.

This Spaniel Hunt Test is held under the Rules and Procedures of the American Kennel Club.

Eligible Breeds for Spaniel Hunting Tests: Airedale Terriers, American Water Spaniels, Boykin Spaniels, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Clumber Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Curly-Coated Retrievers, English Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels,Field Spaniels, Flat-Coated Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Irish Water Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers(Feb 1, 2019), Poodles - Standard and Miniature, Sussex Spaniels, and Welsh Springer Spaniels.
All dogs must be six months of age or over on the day of the Hunting Test.

Dogs will be limited to run in one category per event.

WELCOME STATEMENT

This Spaniel Hunt Test is limited to 25 entries, plus the 30th entry, at which time entries will close. Priority is given to breeds approved by AKC to any entries received on same day as run in Spaniel Hunt Tests prior to July 1, 2019.

***** If limit is not reached by the close (August 20, 2019), then CSCA will accept entries from other eligible breeds.***

DRAWINGS/RUNNING ORDER

Drawings will take place at Huntsecretary.com 8:00 AM ET on 8/21/2019. The Running Order will be electronically randomized and adjusted slightly to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs.

 

SCRATCHES
Scratches prior to closing date will be refunded by HuntSecretary.com unless Club Scratch Policy below states otherwise.
 
After the closing date, all scratches will be handled based on the Club Scratch Policy specified below.

Dogs with medical problems will be refunded after the closing date, vet certificate may be required.

Directions:
From the North... Take exit #95 toward Little Rock. Turn LEFT on Case Road and continue south for several miles. Shortly after crossing Scatter Creek Turn RIGHT on 180th then RIGHT on Guava. The gravel road turns into Area 1's parking lot.

From the South... Take exit #88 toward Rochester. Turn RIGHT at stop light and go north to Elderberry. Turn RIGHT on 193rd, then LEFT on Guava. Guava ends in a gravel road which turns in to Area 1's parking lot.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event and entry form and any decision made in accord with them. I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
