This Spaniel Hunt Test is held under the Rules and Procedures of the American Kennel Club.
For this Water Test only Cocker Spaniels, English Cocker Spaniels, and English Springer Spaniels are eligible to enter.

Welcome to the Rogue Valley Sporting Spaniel Club’s first ever AKC event. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing your dogs run in our Hunt Tests and Spaniel Water Test!

The water test is not limited and is only opened to Cocker Spaniels, English Cocker Spaniels, and English Springer Spaniels. The Water Test will follow completion of the day's Hunt Test.

The Spaniel Hunt Test, which is opened to AKC Eligible Breeds of Spaniels/Retrievers, is limited to 30 dogs per day.

The Oregon Dept of Fish & Wildlife now requires a Vehicle Use Permit for Denman Wildlife Area. Permits can be purchased online, at an ODFW Office that sells licenses, or at a license sales agent. A daily permit is $10, and an annual permit is $30. Permits are transferrable between cars, but each car must have a permit displayed on the dash while parked at Denman Wildlife Area. SAFETY: All people in the field during land work and water work when live ammunition is being used must wear blaze orange. Smoking is not allowed while in the field. Smoking is permitted in the parking area.

A REMINDER: Please remember that training of dogs is not permitted on any part of the grounds on the day of a test. You are asked to keep your dog on leash or confined when not on the course being tested.

Drawings will take place at 8:00 AM ET on 4/13/2022. The Running Order will be electronically randomized and adjusted slightly to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs.

After the closing date, all scratches will be handled based on the Club Scratch Policy specified below.

Entry fees will be refunded for bitches in season, dog injury, illness, death, or at the discretion of the committee. Please clear all scratches with the Event Secretary.

RV camping is available at the Expo Center via Southern Oregon RV. Reservations may be made online or through the main park office (541) 774-8183.

FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-5 north to Medford. Take Exit 30 for OR-62. Turn right onto OR-62E. Take a slight left onto the Rogue Valley Expressway. Use any lane to turn left back onto OR-62E. Turn left onto Leigh Way (past the Best Western Crater Lake Highway). Turn Right onto Agate Road. Turn left onto Touville Road (just past Avenue H) to the Hunt Test Grounds.

FROM THE NORTH: Take exit 35 off of I-5 south. Turn right onto Highway 99. Turn right onto Kirtland Road and travel to the end of Kirtland Road at the traffic light. Continue straight ahead onto Ave. G. Turn left at the stop sign onto Agate Road. Turn left onto Touvelle Road to the Hunt Test Grounds.
